Talie Marie was born on January 1, 1981 in New England's Boston Massachusetts to an English Jewish mother & Irish Catholic father. Her parents divorced when Talie was only four & was raised by her mother. She credits her achievements to her mother's continuous love & support throughout her life. Talie believes in that having hope & opening your heart with forgiveness has been a large part of her recovery process.
Talie is a member of the RAINN Speakers Bureau, The nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. She decided to join the RAINN team in the spring of 2011 along with writing and working to publish her book about her own experiences dealing with sexual and domestic violence in her life to be release in late 2022 or early 2023. She has dedicated her life to raising awareness and educating victims and their families on the resources available to them not only in the USA but worldwide.
In the Spring of 2015 Talie founded the Talie Marie Foundation, this organization will not only raise awareness of the resources available but it will collect blank journals for not just victims but anyone whom may be affected by sexual & domestic violence and suicide. Talie plans on using her foundation to fight to address rape kit and DNA evidence backlogs.
